OUR STORY

Luxcon’s founder and Managing Director, Ilya Melnikoff has 25 years’ experience in Real Estate over a variety of sectors across the industry. Working alongside his uncle Harry Triguboff and obtaining his Real Estate Licence in 1995, Ilya’s career spanned from the grass roots of the profession in Property Management, later moving onto property acquisition, sales, marketing, town planning, construction, and land acquisition across many different geographical zones. Ilya utilised his invaluable experience, skills, and inspiration to establish his own property development group.

In 2008, Ilya founded Luxcon with the ultimate vision to create a new & unique property brand – one that would completely redefine the luxury property development landscape through providing an all-encompassing point of difference. The company was established amid the Global Financial Crisis off the back of a small development site in Neutral Bay on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Over the next 2 years, Ilya singlehandedly planned, marketed, and managed the construction delivery of the project. He achieved the highest rates in the area at the time, selling 70% of the project prior to construction commencing notwithstanding the economic climate. Luxcon’s inaugural project was a tremendous success and served as a springboard for the exponential growth of Luxcon, which has now gone on to develop projects in Melbourne, Queensland’s Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Sydney’s North, East and Inner West suburbs.

In 2017, Ilya made the decision to transform the company into a builder developer to ensure that the delivery of each project would match Luxcon’s ethos of high quality and design standards. By 2020, Luxcon successfully completed construction of a $80m mixed use project in Rose Bay in Sydney’s East and is now on track to deliver close to $500m over four projects in Sydney and Melbourne.
